Early in Rebourne's infancy, the linkshell and its members participated in many Garrisons. As with most new events, it took a few trials and errors to finally get a working strategy but once found, Rebourne rose above all expectations defeating them with glory and pride.
Through Rebourne's years, the linkshell has taken on many new adventures including Rise of the Zilart Missions, Chains of Promatia Missions, Einherjar, Salvage, Various BCNM/KSNM fights just to name a few. In a matter of less than 6 months, Rebourne had tackled all CoP and RoZ Missions allowing for a majority of its linkshell members to have completed these missions and receive access to both Sea and Sky areas. Rebourne can proudly say, while holding their heads high, that they fought, and defeated, these missions BEFORE SquareEnix decided to gimp the fights. And although some fights knocked Rebourne back a bit, Rebourne members refused to step down from the fight and pushed on blazing through the Missions like a wild fire.
To relax, Rebourne members may take a quick poll to see what equipment members need from a specific NM and if enough members do need it, we will form together and go to 'play' with the NM that may drop the item(s). Recently Rebourne had the opportunity and pleasure to team up with another linkshell who was also interested in the same NM. Upon Rebourne's arrival to the NM location, we had found the other Linkshell with lower resources struggling to finish the NM off. Rebourne readily assisted them by curing thier remaining non-KOd members so that they could indeed beat the NM. After the other linkshell defeated the NM with Rebournes help, Rebourne and the other Linkshell leader agreed to team up and share resources so that all who needed the NM drop received it. After teaming up, both linkshells were able to obtain a total of 14 necessary rare/ex items for their linkshell members respectively.
Rebourne also ventured into the Einherjar arena as well. However due to schedule conflicts, Rebourne no longer enters this event as a Linkshell.
In 2009 Rebourne entered a new phase of challenges for events. These events included ZNMs, ISNMs, ANNMs, Salvage, Limbus and Dynamis. Again, this is just some events rebourne has undertaken.
Although Rebourne's roots are in Hades, on March 22, 2010 Square Enix merged several servers due to low population. Hades, sadly, was one of the origin servers that moved to a destination server. Hades was selected by SE to merge with the Cerberus server.
Rebourne looks forward to a bright future and to any new adventures SquareEnix has in line for Final Fantasy XI.
